697 Accelerator pedal, PWM 1 signal (pulse width modulated signal). Priority 2: Fault requiring elimination at a service center. The STOP warning light is permanently red. PWM 1 Accelerator Pedal (A410) signal is missing or incorrect . ThePWM 2 signal is used to identify the accelerator pedal position . Engine speed and torque are limited (1,800 rpm and 80% limit). Check the accuracy of the PWM 1 signal using a PC, check the wiring, contacts in the connectors.Measure with a Fluke handheld oscilloscopeScopeMeter 123 or similar device (frequency 200 Hz). Check the voltage on the FFR unitbetween pins X2 / 11 (+) and X1 / 3 (-): jumper (test block) is closed, Low signal : (accelerator pedal fully depressed) approximately 8 V.,HIGH signal : approximately 20 V. jumper (test block) is open: on the side of the FFR block isapproximately 25.4 V., from the side of the car is approximately 0.5 V. If the fault is not found, try to recalibrate the accelerator pedal. Measure with a Fluke handheld oscilloscope ScopeMeter123 or similar device (frequency 200 Hz).Check the voltage on the FFR unit betweenpins X2 / 18 (+) and X1 / 3 (-): jumper (test block) is closed, Low signal : approximately 8 V., HIGH signal (accelerator pedal fully depressed): approximately 20 V. jumper (test block) is open: on the side of the FFR block isapproximately 25.5 V., on the vehicle side is approximately 0 V. If the fault is not found, try to recalibrate the accelerator pedal. The fault occurs when the idle is more than 10% or less than 30%, and the full load point is greater than 90% or less than 40%.This activates the engine speed limit and torque limit. The accelerator pedal value is calculated from the PWM 2 signal . Check the accuracy of the signal ( PWM 1 pedal module ) using a PC, and perform an accelerator pedal calibration.Pedal calibration is carried out using a PC. To calibrate, press the accelerator pedal to the end (the kick-down mode should be activated), hold the pedal pressed for about 3 seconds, then the pedal should be released, repeat these steps 2-3 times.
